getting double-mastectomy. worried i will never look or feel like a woman again, but not sure reconstructive surgery is for me. anyone else is or was in this predicament? if so, how did you/will you tackle this situation?

whether or not you want reconstructive surgery is such a personal thing. i was on edge about reconstruction therapy because i didnt like the idea of a forum substance being inside my body for the rest of my life just for appearance, but i decided to do it. for me this was the right decision. i love how it looks and i feel more confident then ever, but i met pleny of people who chose to not go with reconstruction and they are extremely happy. it is all about whats right for the individual. i wish you luck in your decision.
