Prostate Cancer Treatment
« on: November 20, 2017, 11:00:59 am »
Hello, I am a 51 year old male and have been recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.  My PAS is a 4.1, which is early stage.
My Dr has recommended either a "Watchful Waiting" treatment, or implanting the seeds along with hormone treatment.  I am not sure which is the best.
Due to the side effects of the treatment causing ED I am concerned.
Thanks,
Gary

I had a friend who was about 10 years older when faced with that same decision. He went for treatment. The seeds were very uncomfortable to say the least. He did kick into remission though. He never talked about the ED stuff so sorry no feedback on that front.

The ED issue is very important, and it seems most don't talk about it,  Like it is the dirty little secret.  Most guys I have talked to, who have gone though the seeds treatment, reluctantly admit that they do have a major problem with ED.  Only solutions is viagra (which is now $70 per pill and insurance does not cover.  Any further information on how to overcome this will be helpful.  Maybe I should do the watchful waiting.
